This Holiday Season All Is Not Calm. This November, warm up the eggnog, slap on a silly jumper and gather around the TV for the enchantingly frightening tale of an ancient elf doll that comes to life and terrorizes an unsuspecting family in Uncork’d Entertainment’s The Elf!

If Pennywise warmed the cockles of your heart, and if you feel Chucky is the gift that keeps on giving, reward yourself with some quality time with The Elf!

Nick is haunted by night terrors stemming from a tragic murder he saw when he was young. After inheriting an old toy shop, he discovers a cursed elf doll sealed inside an ancient chest with a naughty list of his family’s names written on it. He soon discovers that the elf was an evil conduit meant to unleash a supernatural killing spree during the Christmas Holidays by whomever set it free.

A bloody treat arrives November 7 on VOD and December 12 on DVD with The Elf, written and directed by Justin Price (The 13th Friday) and starring Natassia Halabi, Les Best, and Joseph Daniel Ellis.

Natassia Halabi is an Australian actress of Middle Eastern and European decent - her father's ancestry is Syrian from the town of Halab in Aleppo but migrated to Lebanon and her mother's ancestry is Danish. She graduated high school within the top ranking of the state and went on to a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and passed the bar whilst escaping to the stage to study drama at night. After a brief stint at office life as a corporate lawyer, she quit and moved to Los Angeles to be a storyteller. She has a passion for films that we can learn from and that contribute to the betterment of our world and has been developing a film about a new perspective on mental health that is the result of three years of research. As an actress she is known for her role as Jenny opposite Ethan Hawke in Born to Be Blue, Samantha in Starz Network Designer Pups, and as Lindsey in Soledad. Lassiter Holmes, Born in Fort Hood, Texas, Lassiter has had three careers as an aspiring professional athlete, attorney and now as an actor. A native Houstonian, Lassiter graduated from Strake Jesuit High School, Southern Methodist University B.A. History, and The University of Tulsa School of Law, JD. In 1981 Lassiter was recruited out of high school by Ron Myer to play tight end for SMU. He then began working in the legal field in 1984 and after obtaining his law degree he practiced for ten years as a trial and appellate attorney in South Texas. After landing in some legal hot water, Lassiter was disbarred and served a sentence for a white-collar crime. Upon returning to the Rio Grande Valley, he continued to write appeals as a legal assistant and began training contestants for Miss Texas USA. Most notably Danielle Doty who won the Best Teen Swimsuit Award and was crowned Miss Texas Teen 2010. During this period, Lassiter was encouraged to audition for some local roles and was cast as an extra in "Jacob" (2011). While on set Director Larry Wade Carrell liked what he saw and cast Lassiter as Leroy resulting in one of Larry's favorite scenes in the movie. Lassiter went on to film over a dozen roles in 2011 and perform in several plays including Atticus Finch in Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird before sold out crowds.
